Recent Major Investments
GM announced, in January 2005, a $175 million investment for product readiness of the GMT900 launch. In 2006, GM announced a $28 million investment for a new Material Sequence Building. Most recently, in October 2009, GM re-engineered and converted all major areas of the facility to accommodate production of the 2011 Heavy Duty Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra with an investment of over $46 million for this latest project.
