Plant History
Plant was built in 1917. Chrysler Corporation acquired the plant as part of the purchase of American Motors Corporation (AMC) in August 1987. The 2.7-liter engine line was introduced in 1997. Construction of 3.5-liter facility began in 1999 and was launched in 2003.
