EPA says underground landfill fire not moving

BRIDGETON, Mo. (AP) — The Environmental Protection Agency doesn't believe an underground fire smoldering at the Bridgeton Landfill in Missouri is moving toward an adjacent landfill that contains radioactive waste, according to an official's letter.
