A New Jersey family is suing the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District and its superintendent over the use of “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance. The family says students recite the pledge every day, and they say the phrase “under God” discriminates against non-Christians. The American Humanist Association filed the lawsuit with the family, who want to remain anonymous.
