CRANBURY — “It was a nightmare,” said Hightstown Engine Co. No. 1 Chief Scott Jenkins about the scene of a 40-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Monday night that left a Bordentown man dead. “It was like a scene from a movie with one vehicle overturned, another on fire, jackknifed trucks and car wrecks spread all over the roadway.”
