The National Weather Service says the two-day storm dropped 1 to 2 feet of snow from the Finger Lakes to the Adirondacks and the Albany area, with higher elevations getting the most snow. A winter storm warning expires at 7 a.m., but a winter weather advisory is in effect for much of western New York until 4 a.m. Friday.
