Anyone who witnessed the 1982 Super Bowl between Melrose and Natick will tell you that it was a hell of a football game in the old cement bowl in Foxboro known then as Schaefer Stadium. Maybe the best Super Bowl in Massachusetts schoolboy history. Even the pushing-50 former football players from Melrose, who were the ones on the bitter end of that great game, know it was a classic.
